Baccarat at 32 Red Online Casino

Sunday, September 13th, 2009

The 32 Red Online Casino has your classic Baccarat game available with new player bonuses.

Objective of the Game

Your objective in this popular card game is to successfully predict whether the player’s hand will get closest to a value of 9, the banker’s hand will get closest to a value of 9, or that the game will result in a tie. You do not receive any cards, or play against anyone. All ten-value cards (tens and all picture cards) count as 0 and aces count as 1. The winning hand is the hand with the highest points value.

How to Play

Baccarat is one of the oldest of all casino games and has a certain amount of glamour associated with it, as famously demonstrated by James Bond. In reality the game is fairly simple and we have outlined some of the basics of Baccarat below to help you win:

* You decide whether to back the dealer or the player to get nearest to a total of 9.

* Alternatively, you can back the game to end in a tie. This is a less likely outcome but you win eight times your stake if you are right!

* If the cards in a hand total 10 or more, simply subtract 10. For example, a 7 and a 7 = 14 but the Baccarat points value is 4. Again, a 10 and a 3 = 13, but in Baccarat it counts as 3.

* Under certain circumstances a third card is dealt:

Player’s hand receives a third card…

* if the first 2 cards points value equals 0 - 5.

Banker’s hand receives a third card…

* if first 2 cards points value equal 0 - 2
* or total 3 points unless the player’s total is 8
* or total 4 points unless the player’s total is 0, 1, 8 or 9
* or total 5 points unless the player’s total is 0, 1, 2, 3, 8, or 9
* or total 6 points unless the player’s total is 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 8 or 9

The banker always stands on a total of 7

The player always stands on a total of 6 or 7.

If either the player or the banker total 8 or 9 with their first 2 cards, the game ends.

24 Karat Baccarat System

24 Karat Baccarat System

There is very little verifiable information about the 24 Karat Baccarat System. In fact, the price of the actual system is unknown. You are only quoted the price of the “tester” which is $49.95

The tester includes a practice module “to help you learn Baccarat by practicing the rules in a graphical environment” and “it corrects you when you make a mistake”. This could very well just be a glorified way of saying it is a baccarat tutor that assists you to learn the basic rules of the game. While you should always know the rules of the game you are playing, you do not have any choice as to whether or not you will take a card. The rules of the game dictate if you get the next card or if the banker gets the next card. You only choices are how much to bet and who to bet it on.

The claim for the actual system is that “You can make more than $500 per shoe with ease” and “As a matter of fact, you will be making $500+ per shoe most of the time”.

The advertising alludes to a similarity with blackjack card counting. However, without actual details or clues about what makes up the system, I could never recommend it. There is also a “24 Karat Baccarat Plus System” which is supposed to be the free update.
