Is there any “Winning Baccarat System” that can guarantee you will always win when you play baccarat?
Sorry, but the answer is NO. Baccarat is a simple game to learn and it is fun to play. However, the rules in baccarat are set. The player does not have any decisions when it comes to playing the game!
The smart baccarat player is actually a smart baccarat bettor. Winning or losing at baccarat all depends upon how many times you bet on the winning hand. Consider one part of that statement a moment. “Bet on the winning hand”. Someone will always win the game and you can bet with that person.
The essence of any baccarat system tells you who to bet on and how much you should bet.
The Martingale System
This system is all about the amount of your bet. The Martingale system tells you to make a standard bet amount. If you win, you repeat the same bet.
Whenever you lose a bet, you double your bet amount on the next hand. If you win the second bet you then revert back to your standard bet amount. If you lose the second bet, you again double the amount you
just bet. If you can keep doubling your bet after every loss you cannot lose, unless one of two things happen.
When you hit a bad streak of continuous losses this system may fall apart. You may run out of money.
Or you may have reached the table betting maximum and cannot double your previous bet. You can reduce this risk by having a large bankroll and nerves of steel. You can also play at a table with a high maximum bet. However, you cannot totally escape these two limiting factors and are thus still open to a loss.
For example, lets assume that your basic standard bet is $5. After you lose the first bet, you would then bet $10. If you continue losing, your next bets would be $20, $40, $80, $160, $320, $640 $1,280 etc. If you got to the $640 bet level, your losses thus far would have been $635 ($5+$10+$20+$40+$80+$160+$320). At that point your bankroll would have had to be at least $1,275 ($635+$640). The real trouble starts when you lose that $640 bet. You may have run out of money or reached the table maximum.
When you are on a winning streak you will continuously be taking your win off the table and adding to your bankroll. If your playing session starts off with many wins, your bankroll will be increasing in $5 increments.
However, if you start with a losing streak, you may be done sooner than you expected.
The anti-martingale system is similar but opposite in nature. This variation tells you to double your bet after a win. In essence you ‘let it ride’ until you decide to take back some of your winnings. This is meant to help you take advantage of a winning streak and reduce your losses in a losing streak. The difficulty lies in deciding at what point you want remove your winnings from the table and start over.
Other Systems
Most winning baccarat systems strategies involve variations on the Martingale system of varying your bet amount. One such system, advertised for $169.95 is called the “Baccarat Cash Flow” system. Undoubtedly this system uses a modified Martingale system which limits the number of times you would double your basic bet. This apparently is designed to counter one of the major drawbacks of the Martingale system. With a standard bet of $5, this system requires a minimum bankroll of $750 to use it.
Choosing A System
The system you decide to use depends upon your personality and what you perceive to be right at the time. If you are a positive person you may like the anti-martingale approach where you take advantage of winning. This system will lead to you higher but more volatile wins.
A slower, more negative approach is the regular martingale system where you are more concerned about constantly recouping losses. This approach increases your bankroll bet by bet.
Practice Your System
Regardless of what system you choose to use, you should practice with free games. This will give you a better notion of how high your bets can go and what standard bet amount is best for you. After a while you will appreciate the differences on each approach as well as their risks and limitations.
That’s all for now. Later I will be adding more about the “follow the shoe” and “every other” betting systems.
